Ride Registration

Hit the Trails with OCTRA! Enter a Ride!

Experience the thrill of distance riding across Ontario! Browse this year’s OCTRA-sanctioned events — each with links to the ride events and easy online registration.

1. Check Out the Available Events
• View all upcoming rides in the Event Calendar.
• Click on the event to find ride types and distances, contact information, location, and entry fees. Note: if an event is more than a month away, the ride flyer with full details and ticket prices may not be available yet.
2. Register Online 

Register through the Website or Member App by selecting your event and clicking Register. Please ensure your profile is up to date and that you have uploaded your proof of insurance and vaccinations. Because payment for events is handled offline, after you register you will receive a notification showing your payment as outstanding and an invoice by email—this is expected. You can then pay via e-transfer. Once payment is confirmed, your paid status will be updated and your registration will appear under My Tickets in the Member App.

If you are not an OCTRA member, the applicable day member fee applies and must be selected during registration. If you are registering for an AERC event and are not a member, please also select the applicable AERC day fee. 

After submitting your registration, provide payment by e-transfer to the address indicated.

3. What to Bring on Ride Day

Be sure to have these items with you at check in (either hard copy or digital):

• Proof of appropriate equine insurance (e.g., OE)
• Applicable vaccination documents
• OCTRA membership
• Other memberships (if applicable)
